The bank has requested a certified copy of the Will. How to provide it? Is it a matter of stamping each page and signing it or is there a simpler way?
Certified would mean JP (Justices of the Peace) certified. JP's are volunteers appointed and their role is to witness a person making statutory declaration or affidavit, and to certify copies of original documents. They have to look for JP to do the certification.
Please be advised this is general information only, and is not to be taken as legal advice. If you would like more information, or have a legal query, please contact Abbott & Mourly directly.
