Does a nominated Successor Director (SD) sign anything upfront or only upon acceptance when the original Director dies or is incapacitated?
Full acceptance when the original director dies, but momentarily they need to sign the resolution and DoI as it needs to be resolved (decided and sealed) that there will be a successor for the current director.
Please be advised this is general information only, and is not to be taken as legal advice. If you would like more information, or have a legal query, please contact Abbott & Mourly directly.
