What if we have a minor in a position that normally needs signing. What do we do?
A minor may be a beneficiary or appointor who is not under a legal disability from being that position or person. However in terms of signing of a legal document they cannot. So what to do?
Response: Get their parent to sign on behalf of the child.
Please be advised this is general information only, and is not to be taken as legal advice. If you would like more information, or have a legal query, please contact Abbott & Mourly directly.
