Firstly, congratulations on your place as Winner of start-up business of 2021, awarded in the Wealth & SMSF Aust Digital Technology Awards. (‘Never heard of these awards before and I don’t much care, because I know, from my own relevant experience, that you have blazed through into a whole new space!)
I was honestly working up to sending an unsolicited message of congrats when receiving your invitation to submit a testimonial!
So I need no prompting to offer a signed report card on my experience in using the LYD platform for the past 10 months. Frankly, it has been career-changing!
LYD has given me the tools, as a non- lawyer, to service my accounting-firm clients in the areas I love to work - up close and personal... in the SAPEP space. I've stopped doing accounting and tax within my practice, because I can now immerse myself in stuff that really matters - what clients really need….. and which I'm now able to demonstrate to them, they want it. And can afford it! The LYD solutions are truly fit-for-purpose - and they have made the learning process and implementation so easy for a technology-challenged veteran like me.
LYD provides a well-paced learning environment with regular videos, but more that that, there is a well indexed library of not just all the past videos, but a constant pathway of upcoming video topics and a huge pool of common questions, with relevant answers from experts. There is genuine one-on-one on boarding from these same technical experts, but also a very efficient support team who seem to not just acknowledge a logged call, but provide a work-around or a solution that same day – never later than overnight.
All the documents I facilitate and the history, are retained within the platform - I've never lost anything, and its no problem to have serious thinking/doing time disrupted…….its easy to revert. The system is fast – it’s never been off-line and now I have gained user experience, I'm confident the V2 version will not limit my improving speed in working around the platform.
Quite simply, any professional adviser- accountant, financial planner or lawyer
who wants to be relevant as these disciplines converge, just has to subscribe to
LYD and learn to be a "strategist" to meet the demands of regulators and the new bread of emerging clients. Not just HNW individuals, but every family intent on protecting their relative wealth and attaining their testamentary aspirations. It is absolutely clear that there is a huge pipeline of new documents and new automated strategy solutions coming out of LYD to confront the challenges our clients throw at us daily.
We so often hear the cry..” document every transaction, even within family groups”…..and “read the deed!..stupid” . Well, here is the most effective pathway to keeping deeds current….and minimising professional embarrassment when called upon to give evidence of a transaction!
The LYD system will weld your clients onto you! If you can’t/won’t learn to drive the LYD steamroller, then subbie your clients’ SAPAP work to me….’cos there are very attractive hourly recoveries in it for both of us!...and the client doesn’t miss out on the real value….If you don’t believe me, ring me! Yep, uncommonly, I’m a raving f…..fan.
