06 May 2021 - Accountants Exemption and Exiting Members and Trustees from SMSFs and Discretionary Trusts
In this session Grant Abbott from Abbott & Mourly looks at SMSFs and some new solution rollouts including:
1. What to do on the death or divorce of an appointor or trustee of a discretionary trust
2. What to do on the death or exit of a member and trustee from a SMSF
3. How to exclude certain persons or family from an estate with reasons
I will also look at an accountants exemption letter for establishing a SMSF for a client without a licence.
There is one hour of CPE and in terms of FASEA – 0.5 client care and 0.5 professionalism and ethics.
