15 June 2021 - Trust Distributions - the Law, Practice, UPEs and Div 7A

In this session, participants will join Grant Abbott and Michael Jeffriess from LightYear Docs to review three discretionary trust deeds to determine the Trustee's distribution option for the year ending 30 June 2021. We will look at timing of the distributions, what to do with UPEs including assigning to a Family Protection Trust, how to complete easily and efficiently on the LightYear Docs platform and how to rectify if a mistake has been made in prior years.

This session will have one hour CPE for tax agents and for FASEA/ASIC it is 0.5 client care and 0.5 technical.
