SMSF & Trusts

When updating a SMSF Deed, do you need to include the dates when a Trustee was appointed and removed?

Scenario: You have a client who had a husband and wife as Trustees. Then, the Trustees resigned and appointed Trustees were a company with the husband and wife as Directors and Shareholders. The Corporate Trustee then resigned and the husband and wife became the Trustees again.

Answer: You do not need to include the dates when a Trustee was appointed and removed. Just include the date of the deed update.
